# How can I cancel my membership?

## You can cancel your membership from your Member's Login page.

We understand that there are situations that may prevent you from keeping your Éconofitness membership.

 

Before proceeding with your cancellation, we encourage you to review the terms applicable to your membership, fees apply depending on your situation. 

 

**How do I cancel my membership?**

To cancel your membership, log in to your Member Space and go to the **“My Membership”** tab. Click "Cancel my membership" and follow the steps through to the end of the cancellation process.

**Important**: If several contracts appear on your Member's Login page (for example, an old contract and your current contract), make sure you select the right membership to cancel.

 

**Are there any fees?**

This depends on the date of your membership and when you cancel. Here's what Quebec's Consumer Protection Act says:

- If you cancel within 37 days of signing your contract: You're eligible for a refund, minus 1/10 of the total cost of the membership. This is what the law allows for this type of contract.
- If you cancel after the 37 days: There is a calculated indemnity at the time of termination. This is used to cover the administrative procedures required to cancel your contract. This amount is fixed and applies to all membership types.
