There are two main reasons why your membership may have been canceled.
At Éconofitness, a membership can be cancelled automatically if:
- Two consecutive payments have been refused by your financial institution or credit card (e.g.: insufficient funds, expired card, credit limit reached, etc.).
- A payment has been disputed directly with your credit card company.
In these situations, the system automatically closes the membership to prevent the balance due from continuing to accumulate.
What do I do if my membership has been cancelled?
- Log in to your Member's Login page (My Payments tab) to pay the remaining balance.
- Then, you must renew your membership to access the gym again. Need help renewing? See "How do renewal work?"
